And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. ~ Philippians 1:6

PLURK
yet another social networking site hmmmmmm only reason I am giving it a try is because there are so many knitters on there. Having trouble figuring out how to add friends. Maybe I shouldn't try to do new things after midnight !

Pumpkin Pie Muffins
A couple of weeks ago I found a recipe for a 2 ingredient muffin. Pumpkin and yellow cake mix. Now I lack the ability to follow a recipe without making my own changes. How ever small they may be. Hence the birth of the PUMPKIN PIE MUFFINS. These are so easy to make and unbelievable yummy. I hope you enjoy them as much as my family has.
Pumpkin Pie Muffins
1 can 100%pumpkin
1 box yellow cake mix
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cloves
1 tsp vanilla
mix. bake at 350 for 40 minutes (or until toothpick comes out clean)
Yup it is that easy ! Well the girls are here for for coffee and muffins. Bye !!

God's Love
Hosea 11
The Lord’s Love for Israel
1 “When Israel was a child, I loved him,
and I called my son out of Egypt.
2 But the more I[a] called to him,
the farther he moved from me,
offering sacrifices to the images of Baal
and burning incense to idols.
3 I myself taught Israel[b] how to walk,
leading him along by the hand.
But he doesn’t know or even care
that it was I who took care of him.
4 I led Israel along
with my ropes of kindness and love.
I lifted the yoke from his neck,
and I myself stooped to feed him.
__________
To me these verses could have been written especially for me......
Hosea 11
The Lord’s Love for Tish
1 “When Tish was a child, I loved her,
and I called my daughter out of the World.
2 But the more I called to her,
the farther she moved from me,
offering sacrifices to the images of the World
and burning incense to idols.
3 I myself taught Tish how to walk,
leading her along by the hand.
But she doesn’t know or even care
that it was I who took care of her.
4 I led Tish along
with my ropes of kindness and love.
I lifted the yoke from her neck,
and I myself stooped to feed her.
___________
I don't think I have ever heard a Word from God that was so powerful and that hit me this hard. When I was small I didn't have a father to teach me how to walk or to keep me from danger. But all along my true Father was there guiding and protecting me. I was never alone. Ever.
Thank you Abba Father.

Newest Spinning
Last night I spent the evening with my lovely friends spinning and talking. Nothing like a night with the girls and yarn. I learned how to use my lace flyer ! As you can see in the picture I picked up on it and WOOHOO I am loving making lace weight yarn! It is so delicate and beautiful. I thought I would only be able to make delicate yarn on my spindle. At this rate I will have a hank of lace weight yarn to show soon :)

Tuesday is knit night !!!
I love Tuesdays. It is the day were I get to leave all my worries behind me and focus on laughing with my friends. Tonight was a great night we laughed, we shared and we even did some shopping. I believe the newest Debbie Bliss magazine was bought as well as the 2 at a time socks book. I am very excited about that.

Knitting block
So last night I had knitter's block. I looked through every book and pattern I owned looking for inspiration, nothing felt right. So I turn to Ravelry for help. So many patterns !!! What is a knitter to do?? After a couple of hours in pattern heaven I decided that what I wanted to knit was a hat. So I found this cutie. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out.

Drop Stitch Scarf
This is one of my WIPs (work in progress) This beautiful 100% silk yarn started out as a small stockinette scarf. But half way through, it decided it didn't want to be that. So I frogged it and went on a pattern hunt. One of the many pleasures of being a knitter is the hunt for a fun pattern. I stumbled on this scarf from CurlyPurly.com. I love it, and so does the yarn :) So I am off to knit my pretty pretty scarf.

Snow Day Knits
I am working on 2 different knits today. Yes at the same time. My attention span leaves something to be desired LOL. The purple one is a the second sock of a pair that I am knitting for my grandmother. Very pretty socks, but very time consuming !!! The teal is the first of a pair of wristlets that I am knitting for Lainey. I will post a pic of both when they are done. Both should be wonderfully cute.

Met Casper and Casperilla. Our newest family additions. My sister loves frogs, I love geckos. I think these 2 will be happy additions to our home :)
Ah Ha Moment
I was trying to figure out how to get a picture from my phone to my blog using the LEAST number of steps. Yes, I am that lazy LOL After a little googling I found that Flickr has an app (of course) and I can use it to upload directly to my blog WOOHOO
